During a refit project, both the yacht under refit and the number of contractors involved pose many challenges. In addition, class and flag requirements for the refitted yacht may be different, and stricter, than those applied to the original yacht.

- Record keeping and creation of a 'refit book', which details all important build information and decisions.
- Assistance with crew selection and the yacht's operational preparation.
- Assistance with the certification and other administration procedures prior to relaunch.
- Support with the importation and exportation of the vessel under refit.
- Test and trial supervision.
- Inform of any beneficial improvements to the refit, its finance or delivery.
