CHIEF STEWARD(ESS) onboard luxury motor yacht - Mediterranean


A 35 meter classic motor with a total of 7 crew is looking for a Chief Steward(ess).
The owner of the yacht is a hospitality expert and therefore requires top service and cuisine. However, he prefers to have an enthusiastic young team that can entertain the guests and make their stay on-board an unforgettable experience.
The yacht is currently based in Spain / Mallorca, but will be cruising in the Mediterranean starting from April for the entire season. It would be beneficial if you could personally meet the captain in Mallorca on appointment before 14th of April.

 

Requirements:

  • At least two seasons experience on private luxury yachts or hotels as Stewardess / Head Stewardess.
  • It’s a benefit to have tender driving experience and must be happy to work on a medium size yacht in a big team.
  • Minimum qualifications are STCW and ENG1. Any other hospitality related courses and work experience will be advantageous.
  • Excellent standard of spoken English is required and preferably more languages.
  • He/she must be highly presentable at all times a team player and have good leadership skills.
  • The chief stewardess is responsible with her team to uphold the high reputation of Polycarpus’ service standard. Inventiveness is required to entertain the quests on-board, and make their stay unforgettable, also by surprising the guests each time with your creativity. E.g. table decoration, night turn-down poetries, etc
  • Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
