15 June 2011 | OCEAN Independence (OCI) announces 2 yacht sales, 6 new CAs for sale and 2 for charter.

OCEAN Independence (OCI) Zürich and UK are pleased to announce the sale of 49m Anastassiades & Tsortanides ASTERIA with Peter Hürzeler and Axel Douqué representing the owner and Peter Thompson representing the buyer. The sale was concluded less than 6 months after being listed with OCI for sale!

Built in 1970 in Greece she was converted in 2000/2002 by Northport Engineering in New Zealand into a world cruising explorer yacht. Now fully Lloyds classed, she accommodates 12 guests in six cabins and carrying a heli-deck, is fitted with zero speed stabilisers and comes complete with a large Northwind aluminium RIB tender.

Then at OCI Antibes Jeroen Minnema sold the 26m Riva VALERIA. Built in 2004 to RINA class and MCA compliant, she was the only commercially registered Riva 85 Opera on the market. Her elegant, understated interior sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins; a master, VIP and two twins and her twin MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 25 knots with a maximum speed of 33 knots.

A new level of quality from the Far East, Peter Hürzeler at OCI Zürich offers the new build 36.57m Jade Yachts JADE 120.

Proven quality and finish from the Jade Yachts Shipyard Kaohsiung in Taiwan, this steel, transatlantic classed yacht will be Bureau Veritas / MCA compliant, with a high level technical spec throughout including zero speed stabilizers as standard.

Her fully custom made interior, to buyer’s choice, will sleep 10 guests in 5 cabins and she will be available in just 18 months from contract.

Moving to OCI Palma, Jim Acher is happy to present the 29m Ferretti Custom Line CHRISTINE OF LONDON. Launched in 2003 and with only 840 engine hours she is in superb condition! Sleeps 10 guests in 4 cabins, 30m berth in Puerto Portals also for sale by separate negotiation.

Then at OCI London Peter Thompson and Michael White bring us 2 new CAs, firstly the swift, spacious & seriously stylish 27m Canados ALEA II from 2009. She has been maintained at the Canados shipyard over the winter and cruising at 43knots sleeps 8 guests in 4 generous cabins.

Secondly the 22.3m ALFA MARINE 72 from the Alfamarine Cantieri di Fiumicino, launched in 2008 this unusual 4 cabin layout 72 model sleeps 8 guests and is in immaculate condition throughout. 42kts max speed.

And finally at OCI Monaco Marco Vandoni offers the 21m Azimut 68 NEREUS for sale including a berth in Port Gallice. Built in 2007 she has only 600 engine hours, sleeps 6 guests in 3 cabins and comes complete with a 25m x 6m berth, perfect for your villa on the Cap d’Antibes!

2 fabulous new CAs for charter starting with the 59m Baglietto VICKY presented by Marco Vandoni at OCI Monaco. Built in 2009 she comfortably and stylishly accommodates 10 guests in 5 cabins. She is equipped with WIFI, lots of toys and is ready to receive guests for charter in the Western Mediterranean this season.

Moving to OCI UK James Graham-Cloete offers 34m RMK Marine CORNELIA. Designed by De Vries Lentsch and launched in 2006 this beautiful yacht will be available in Croatia for the summer with her captain (Jim Gallagher) who knows Croatia very well.

Overall she is a wonderful charter package, with zero-speed stabilizers she runs efficiently (just 80 litres/hr at 10 knots) and quietly creating the ideal base for her 9 guests in 4 cabins.
