Aashim, a world class yachtsman with several World Championship and Asian Games medals to his name, turned his passion for the water into a profession in 1994. He has been recognized by the Govt. of India with several awards including the Arjuna Award, Shivaji Chattrapati Award and Yachtsman of the Year.
WCMYS today, run by Aashim and ably assisted by his wife Bharati is a fully integrated marine company that manages the largest number of pleasure crafts in India and has been handling visiting superyachts since 2000. Bharati has been handling the charter division for several years now, from customised itineraries for superyachts to hourly charters of smaller craft.
The Mumbai team already delivers exceptional yachting experiences to the Indian market and with the expected continued growth of the country’s economy in the coming years India is a strategic market for yachting development.
