15 May 2010

Sold

Peter Thompson and Michael White at Ocean Independence (OCI) UK sold the 43m sailing yacht SKYLGE, now renamed THIS IS US and also the 28m AB Yachts ANTHEA, in Joint Central Agency.

SKYLGE was built in aluminium in 2005 by Holland Jachtbouw to an Andre Hoek design, has slim low-freeboard lines, long overhangs and a modest pilothouse. Her rig follows the trend for high-aspect mainsails and she has a clean deck, while her lifting keel offers access to shallower waters.

Lloyds classed and MCA compliant, THIS IS US sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins and has a range of 2,500 nautical miles at 11 knots and will remain for charter with OCI under her new owner.

Also sold by Peter Thompson and Michael White, the 28m AB Yachts ANTHEA. Launched in 2006 by one of the master builders of large, fast, open yachts, AB Yachts. Constructed of Kevlar, her triple Caterpillar 1825hp engines power her to a maximum speed of 53 knots and she can comfortably cruise at around 45 knots.

Anthea accommodates 8/9 guests in 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins and her bright, modern interior was designed by Guido de Groot.
