The aluminum sloop from the well known yacht design team Judel and Vrolijk is sleek and easy to sail with a small crew. Madrid based Barracuda Yacht Design was chosen to create a minimalist interior architecture. The result is fabulous without the chilling effect of the modernist. ATALANTA is a performance sailing yacht that offers a high level of comfort and feeling of space, on deck as well as below decks.
On deck ATALANTA shows a low profile with few lines on deck and easy to sail. Her almost straight bow and four spreader Southern Spars carbon rig with back swept spreaders complete the picture. The deck space is enormous with a large social cockpit and just one step to the steering cockpit without climbing. Behind the helmsman is a wonderful sunbathing area and also a favourite spot for those who like to stay out of the way when the race is on.
Representing both the buyer and the seller, OCEAN Indepedence reportedly completed the sale of the yacht last week.
