Royal Huisman’s Gliss victorious at Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2009

15 June 2009 | Exclusively for sale through OCEAN Independence. This outstanding CA for sale with OCEAN Independence continues to build on her excellent regatta record and after four days of racing, the 32 metre Gliss has taken victory in the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2009.

This beautifully located event was hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo, Sardinia and with good racing winds and clear sunny skies throughout the 4 day regatta.

Gliss took first place seven points ahead of the Reichel-Pugh designed My Song owned by Pierluigi Loro Piana and was awarded the Silver Jubilee Cup during the prize giving in the Yacht Club’s Piazza Azzurra. Charles Dunstone’s 36 metre Hamilton II came in third, just one point behind My Song.

Gliss is in pristine condition, offers exhilarating performance and will be campaigning at the Palma Superyacht Cup from the 24th-27th June.
