The black hull and military looking superstructure provide a mixture of rigid lines and elegant curves, surrounded by a state of the art lighting and sound system. The yacht is most impressive seen at night when the lighting system gives a unique night visibility and creates special effects around the yacht.
SEA FORCE ONE was built in 2008 by AMY, the joint venture between Cantieri Navali Lavagna and T. Mariotti of Genoa. The yacht features advanced technology and functionality combined with contemporary interiors in unusual materials. All of the areas in the yacht encompass sublime comfort, elegant luxury, incredible entertainment and the utmost style.
The designer Luca Dini is renowned for his yacht projects; however this vessel would not look the same without the input of her Owner. With clear ideas he accompanied the yacht during the designing and building period and has had a firm influence on her looks. The choice of materials and furnishings create a unique ambience on board. From the black fur hammock with stainless steel chains in the saloon to the DJ console, video screens and mirrored bar on the upper deck; this approach to a yacht interior is unique.
So many features stand-out such as the illuminated plexiglass stairs leading to the guest cabins where the walls are decorated with mother of pearl mosaics creating wonderful light effects, giving the impression of water running down the stairs. In addition the owner is a collector of modern art and some extravagant pieces make for a dramatic effect such as “The Bones” by Kiki Smith - a skull and bones displayed in a white leather coffee table with glass top. However it is not just the interior that has the wow factor, there is an impressive array of watersports equipment, neatly stored in the side-accessed garage, plus for the fitness fanatic, there is a fully equipped gym on the sky lounge deck.
The yacht obtained both ABS and RINA certifications. She has been built to conform to RINA’s Green Star Code for low environmental impact and she is also the first yacht to be awarded RINA’s Secure Yacht coding relating to the standard of personal safety and security for crew and guests.
With a length of 54m and a width of 10.50m the yacht offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. The comfort for guests is guaranteed by very rigid standards for sound proofing and noise reduction. SEA FORCE ONE is driven by two Caterpillar engines and cruises smoothly at 14 knots with a maximum of 17.5 knots. Zero speed stabilizers also ensure a smooth ride for her guests.
SEA FORCE ONE cruises the entire Mediterranean and Croatia, depending on the time of the year and location of charter bookings. She is also available for event charters such as the Film Festival in Cannes or the Grand Prix in Monaco. When in port, cocktail parties for up to 100 guests can be hosted. For such events the two yacht chefs have a professionally equipped stainless steel galley to ensure they can cater for every need.
