Truly the result of great teamwork within the company; sharing of knowledge, advice and information; the sale of this yacht is a highly important milestone. Acting on a referral from a direct client of Rebecca Pattinson, Peter spent nearly two years in careful negotiation with the new buyers, which involved the help of Nick Dean and OCEAN Management in preparation of proposals and documentation.
Towards the end of last year a great deal of patience was required when the sale suddenly turned from red hot to stone cold, leaving the impression that it was unlikely to proceed. Happily however, soon into the new year the owners recommenced their pursuit of the yacht, and soundly convinced of OCEAN Independence's competence and suitability to manage the transactions they engaged Peter to carry the sale through. It goes without saying that this achievement is bound to attract a great deal of attention in the industry, and even outside it, which will enormously benefit the whole group.
Announcements have been made by Edmiston (as CA) and OCI to the wider brokerage community, and press releases to the worldwide editorial arena will follow. We shall certainly be making the most of every opportunity to shout this news from the rooftops, including making the sale front page news in our forthcoming March newsletter.
