Zurich portfolio launch 2009

20 March 2009 | OCEAN Independence proudly unveiled their 2009 Charter Portfolio at Zürich’s stylish Stockeregg Gallery on Monday 2nd March. The world’s finest luxury superyachts for charter and enticing cruising itineraries, coupled with an innovatively designed hardcover in OCI’s original branding, make this year’s edition set for distinction.

OCI celebrated this latest publication with in excess of 80 guests.

Clients, industry associates, members of local Swiss and yachting press (including Boote Exclusiv’s editor-in-chief Marcus Krall) and several eminent artists were greeted in the foyer of the gallery by a magnificent virtual yacht concept sculpture by the famed sculptor, Fernando-Leal Audirac.

This striking ensemble is one of Audirac’s most recent creations and was transported to Zürich from the sculptor’s studio near Turin specifically for the portfolio launch event.

Delicious wines and mouth-watering canapés were served inside the fashionable gallery where guests were able to browse the exclusive new Charter Portfolio alongside the avant-garde photography exhibition “Pioneering Colour Photography Meets Contemporary”.

At the end of a lively evening guests left the relaxed yet stylish event with a copy of the new Charter Portfolio and a delightful book from Gallery Stockeregg, as well as a beautiful collection of sailing photography, generously supplied by the German publishers Delius Klasing.
