Corsica & Sardinia
The French island of Corsica and the Italian island of Sardinia are close Mediterranean neighbours. Corsica's rugged mountains and deep gorges make it an exceptional yacht charter destination, while Sardinia's stunning coastline offers golden beaches, waters full of exotic fish and 300 sunny days a year.
The port at Bonifacio in Corsica has a wonderful setting, and is ideal for exploring the Bonifacio channel and Lavezzi Islands, a natural reserve. The southern harbour at Porto-Vecchio attracts many luxury yachts every summer.
With warm African winds, Sardinia's climate is also cooler and more pleasant than other Mediterranean areas in the summer. At that time of year, the island's ports (especially Yacht Club Costa Smeralda at Porto Cervo) attract many superyachts to their restaurants and other attractions.
