Itinerary
Unlike on a cruise ship or with a pre-packaged tour, a yacht charter holiday allows for a flexible itinerary. So if you want to stay an extra night in a quiet harbour, the captain can re-arrange the overall itinerary.
Flexibility is incorporated into each day too. You will have an opportunity to discuss the day's schedule with the Captain and make any adjustments or choose a different itinerary.
Crew
Trained professionals will provide safety and comfort, which are the top priorities. Your yacht charter will include a full crew suitable for the yacht's size and number of guests.
With a highly trained Captain, chef and stewardess, your crew will provide everything from navigation to chilled cocktails. They will provide whatever you need or desire, so you can just relax and enjoy the views.
Service
You will receive an on-board, customised service that is second to none. The yacht crew will build a schedule around you, no matter what time you want to sleep, eat or play.
As experts in hospitality and party planning, the charter yacht crew can also make special occasions the most memorable of a lifetime. We can even create theme nights!
Food and drink
Your own personal chef will tailor each day's menu to your tastes and dietary needs, with a galley stocked with items that you have requested.
We can accommodate all restrictions (including special menus) and desires, including daily cravings for chocolate, speciality wines or any other indulgence.
Entertainment and facilities
The high-quality facilities available vary from yacht to yacht. They range from surround-sound theatre systems and 24/7 internet access to zero-speed stabilisers to help reduce motion at sea.
Your personal charter broker will help to match what is most important to you with a suitably outfitted luxury yacht.
Yacht toys
There is a huge range of fun and ingenious yacht toys available, from sailing dinghies and fully submersible submarines to remote-controlled boats. While many cater to the entertainment of the elite mega yachts, popular yacht toys are also within the budget of the luxury yacht.
Examples of some common marine toys: diving gear, jet skis, kayaks, gym equipment, inflatable toys, SeaBobs, wake boards, wetsuits and much more. Note that some toys require a licence and that the specific toys available depend on each yacht.
Yacht etiquette and small reminders
- Shoes for ashore should not be worn on board. Deck shoes may be worn, but most guests find they are comfortable in bare feet.
- No pets are allowed on board unless previously agreed and permitted by the owner.
- Depending of the space of the yacht, we suggest packing your personal items in soft luggage bags as this enables easier storage whilst on board.
- If a yacht does not advertise scuba diving as a guest facility, it is usually possible to arrange a local shore-based diving company. They will bring all the necessary equipment and take you and your guests on a specific diving trip (subject to local law restrictions).
- In most cruising destinations, use of personal watercraft (such as waverunners and jetskis) is only permitted subject to the operator having the appropriate licence and meeting with local operating regulations.
- We can advise where these licences may be obtained and, in the near future, licensing may be available by a trained instructor directly on some yachts during your cruise. Some countries have forbidden the use of personal watercraft in their waters, so this should be a consideration when planning your itinerary.
- Cruising distances will vary according to your preference and itinerary. To maximise your enjoyment, we suggest cruising no more than six hours per day. However, it is highly unusual for yachts to reach this average, as most itineraries concentrate on the use of the yacht.
