POLYCARPUS
In 2003 the owner took a strong tug boat hull to Holland and converted her into a Dutch built superyacht with superb systems, equipment and finish.
Built originally in 1949 as a Rhine Tug in France with a steam engine. Originally called ARC, she began in the 1980s her new life as a pleasure yacht, but not until 2003 she was completely transformed into the luxurious pedigree superyacht she is today. As a result the Polycarpus has a personality and charisma that is difficult to match on pleasure yachts today.
Polycarpus boasts exceptionally spacious decks for a yacht of her size, including an open top-deck with Jacuzzi, an upper aft deck with comfortable seating areas. She offers generous accommodation for 12 guests in six well-equipped double cabins with en-suite bathrooms (incl. a Master and VIP cabin). She has stabilizers underway and is extremely stable at anchor.
She is well-known for offering the highest level of service onboard a Luxury Yacht and offers a long Charter history. She is running on 60% repeat clients/guest and still are receiving new bookings due to her stunning reputation!
Not only the charter guests love the old lady - as the crew name the Polycarpus, she is also very popular between charter brokers around the world as they can insure their clients an amazing charter experience onboard the Polycarpus.
Today, Polycarpus is part of the luxury yacht fleet at OCEAN Independence and is available for charter in the West and East Mediterranean. She is cruising under the command of Andrew Jenvey, a warm, hospitable nature and is an excellent charter captain willing to be flexible and adapts to each client needs wherever possible!
