Following the reporting system, the need for small and large maintenance works or renewals can be detected in time. This allows for careful planning of such work, at the right time, at the right place, at the right cost.
In accordance with the Owner, and in cooperation with the Captain, OCEAN Independence compiles a budget and work lists for jobs to be done. As necessary, offers from yard or other parties will be obtained, and work descriptions issued Work progress is constantly monitored, and the Owner remains informed about the progress.
Comparison with the projected schedule allows to detect deviations and to adjust the planning, or to act against the contractors.
Benefiting from the wealth of experience gained in operating yachts throughout the world, we can assist both owner and master in the cost-effective and efficient maintenance of the yacht.
We provide assistance regarding the planning, outlining, scheduling and costing of minor and major work to be carried out on the vessel, as well as emergency repairs.
- Procedures, planning and monitoring of all work for the ordinary and extra-ordinary technical maintenance of the vessel, carried out by sub-contractors and/or shipyards.
- Assistance and supervision provided to the master, chief engineer and officers for maintenance work and any technical problem.
- Supervision and technical control on job lists established by the master, the chief engineer and the officers and carried out by the crew and/or day workers.
