Yacht Manager

Ocean Independence are offering the opportunity to join one of the world's leading yacht brokerage and management teams, specialising in the operational and technical management of luxury superyachts.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum Yacht Master License 3000GT or equivalent (commercial)
  • Minimum three years of operational experience onboard large yachts (>24m) or passenger vessels 
  • Knowledge of ISM or Mini-ISM
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel 
  • The ability to work independently and communicate appropriately and effectively with our high-profile clients 

Your responsibilities will cover general yacht management, accounting, refitting and dry-docking activities as well as crew management. Frequent travel is required for yacht visits, surveys and ISM audits. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work discretely, ensuring that confidentiality remains paramount.

The position is based in our head office in Zürich, Switzerland, however for the right candidate it may be possible to work from one of our other office locations.
