Alexander plays a pivotal role at Ocean Independence as the Head of Finance, bringing a deep-rooted passion and unwavering dedication to his position.
Officially joining in 2021, his connection with Ocean Independence spans a lifetime, largely due to his father, who founded the company.
From an early age, Alexander was surrounded by the yachting world, frequently participating in sailing vacations, yacht visits, and shows with his family. This upbringing instilled in him a profound love for boats and the yachting industry, making sailing a constant part of his life and solidifying his commitment to contributing to the family business.
Alexander earned a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Prior to his tenure at Ocean Independence, he sharpened his skills as an in-house strategy consultant, where he built a robust foundation in financial management and strategic planning.
In his current role, Alexander is dedicated to guiding the company toward financial prosperity and sustainability, utilizing his extensive background and personal passion for the industry to achieve these goals.
