André is a seasoned Senior Maritime Executive with over 25 years of international experience in the premium tourism sector.
He has held roles as Managing Director, Business Unit Director, and Board Member in prominent cruise lines and associations, specialising in change management, business development, and operational excellence. Renowned for his inspiring leadership and results-driven approach, he excels in innovation, transformation, and stakeholder management.
André completed his degree in Maritime Studies at the University of Applied Sciences Wismar, Germany, and is a passionate seafarer.
Among his major achievements is the establishment, alongside a team of maritime and airline experts, of the first state-of-the-art Fleet Monitoring and Support Centre. He has also contributed to global safety standards for the cruise industry with the International Maritime Organization (IMO). With a background as a Master Mariner, he is dedicated to enhancing maritime company performance through innovative solutions and effective leadership. In his free time, he recharges his energy and strength through hiking and travelling.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, André is committed to driving organisational consistency, leveraging his extensive background and personal passion for the industry.
