Beatrice was born and raised in Genoa, home to the renowned Genoa Boat Show.
From an early age, her fascination with yachts was nurtured by her father, who—picking up on her enthusiasm—would adopt a poker face and feign interest in purchasing a vessel just to secure a tour of the most stunning boats. This early exposure ignited a deep passion for the yachting world, ultimately shaping her career path.
Pursuing this passion, Beatrice became a Naval Architect specialising in yacht design. She spent several years working in the Netherlands at Feadship’s in-house studio, gaining invaluable experience with one of the industry’s most prestigious shipbuilders. However, over time, Beatrice began to miss the direct connection with the yachts themselves. The pull of being on board, rather than solely behind a screen, led to a bold decision to change course entirely—bringing her to Ocean Independence.
Beyond the world of yachting, Beatrice enjoys channelling her creativity and craftsmanship through crochet, embroidery, painting, pottery, and other hands-on pursuits. As a true Italian, Beatrice also has a deep love for cooking—and, of course, savouring exceptional food.
