As a Senior Charter Manager and Group Director with Ocean Independence, Daphne oversees charter marketing operations for the US managed charter fleet.
Daphne spent six years as stewardess on a variety of charter and private yachts from 74’ – 160’ cruising U.S., Bahamas, Caribbean and Eastern Mediterranean waters before transferring ashore in 2004. A native of Florida, she was raised aboard a houseboat in the waters of Biscayne Bay and the Florida Keys.
Her extensive knowledge for local cruising as well as nearby Bahamas is valuable to the team and clients.
In 2009, she joined Ocean Independence and has been an active member of the International Yacht Broker’s Association (IYBA) Charter Professionals Committee for sixteen years, as well as appointed chairperson for the past eight years. In 2018, Daphne was proudly awarded Charter Professional of the Year by industry peers.
