Hanneke's passion for all things nautical was shaped by a diverse international journey.
Before stepping into the yachting world, she lived in Switzerland and Greece, where she developed a deep appreciation for travel and luxury hospitality.
Her love for the sea truly ignited in the mid-1990s while crewing on charter yachts in the Mediterranean. Once shore-based in Mallorca, she continued her career as a charter and sales specialist, quickly establishing herself as a respected figure in the industry. In 2002, she moved to London, joining Burgess as a Brokerage Manager and later founding the company’s OceanStyle division, which she successfully developed and managed for both sales and charter.
During a decade-long career break from the yachting sector, Hanneke launched her own online retail business while also serving as Sales Director for a luxury ski chalet operator. During this time, she built a dedicated client base, utilising her exceptional networking skills and business acumen. Believing that personal connections are key to creating a truly bespoke charter experience, Hanneke takes pride in forming strong relationships with her clients to ensure every detail meets their unique travel needs.
In her free time, she enjoys the thrill of racing vintage cars competitively, embraces adventure travel, and is an accomplished sailor, skier, and diver.
