Marcus has 22 years of experience as a journalist, most of them within the maritime sector.
He has worked for well known media titles and for ten years as the editor-in-chief of Boote Exclusiv, the top megayacht magazine in the German-speaking world. He has vast knowledge from personal visits to countless superyachts, extensive contacts with worldwide shipyards and has participated in numerous luxury events in Germany and abroad. Marcus is an extremely effective communicator who works with a focus on clear interaction with his audience. Based on his wide-reaching experience, Marcus has been in charge of Ocean Independence PR in the German-speaking DACH region since March 2018 and is also responsible for generating new business ideas.
In his spare time, Marcus enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and fishing – plus he is a passionate football coach. He speaks German, English and French.
