If you wish to explore ashore, there are plenty of activities to enjoy, specifically some excellent golfing plus a wide range of shopping and superb restaurants. Two state parks, a national park plus a national marine sanctuary ensure that Key Largo is a wildlife haven. America’s first underwater park - John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park - provides an amazing array of underwater sea life and colourful coral. As the sun sets, tender out to Indian Key, where you can watch the colours fade from the sky on this stunning natural key.
