The well-known US yacht designer cut his teeth designing fast and capable racing sailing yachts in the1970s. Franchini shipyard are a high-quality Italian yard with a reputation for soundly built and well designed yachts that are sought after. Arcadia is in very good condition, has a very high-quality interior and her owners have spent much time and effort making sure she is well maintained.
The Franchini 63 is less well known than perhaps Oyster or Hallberg Rassy but offers exceptional volume, sea keeping and a well thought out interior.
