PROJECT KUMU: a 46m hybrid new-build charting a quieter, more connected way to be on the water.
PROJECT KUMU is a 46-metre hybrid motor yacht for sale. Accommodating up to 10 guests across 5 staterooms, she pairs contemporary styling with eco-efficient engineering, a 285m² sun deck and a 200m² aft deck with fold-down platforms.
PROJECT KUMU is conceived around a close, uncomplicated relationship with the water, brought to life through the joint work of exterior and interior designer D-iD and naval architect Lateral Naval Architects.
As a project yacht still in build, her design and specification are not yet fixed, giving a buyer the opportunity to shape layout, finishes and equipment ahead of delivery. The concept suggests a main deck salon opening onto the aft deck through an indoor/ outdoor bar, creating an easy flow through the dining area and forward to the Owner's suite and VIP staterooms, with skylights above the Owner's suite and both VIP staterooms bringing in natural daylight and allowing guests to look up at the stars from their beds. A second salon offers a flexible space with its own balcony, suited to use as a gym, spa or indoor cinema depending on the Owner's preference.
Power comes from two MAN V12 hybrid engines delivering 1471kW each, backed by a Silent Mode for quiet, low-wash running, with a cruising speed of 19 knots, a top speed of 20 knots and a range of 3,500nm at 12.3 knots. Tenders comprise a 5.5m tender in the tender garage and a 7.5m tender carried on the aft deck, with additional stowage for diving, fishing and watersports equipment. Zero Speed stabilisers, a swimming pool and deck Jacuzzi, and a beach club add to the onboard offering, positioning her for cruising across the Mediterranean and further afield.
