News Captain Mark Delstanche Completes North Atlantic Solo Row

Having set off from New York back in June, superyacht Captain Mark Delstanche successfully arrived at Tower Bridge, London on Sunday 19 September.

Mark has now become the first person in history to row from New York to London solo and unsupported and has raised an incredible amount of money for Global’s Make Some Noise and the Plastic Ocean Project. Mark spent approximately 12-14 hours per day in the rowing seat, taking around 15,000 strokes per day which amounts to in excess of a staggering 2,000,000 strokes to reach Tower Bridge.
